Brandt Kantentechnik GmbH - a brief overview It was the aim of rounding off its production range downwards while at the same time complementing it with machines for processing shaped parts in furniture production that persuaded HOMAG Holzbearbeitungssysteme AG, already the world market leader in the edge processing sector, to acquire a majority stake in Lemgo-based company Brandt. This merger was to prove extraordinarily advantageous both for the market position of HOMAG and for its new subsidiary, Brandt.

On the 1st of October 1945 Gustav WEEKE & Son founded a locksmith´s company in Herzebrock in Westfalia which even in those times had the aim to solve the requests of the woodworking companies.From those early days which began with very simple inventions the Throughfeed-Drilling machine, as it was later called, developed in to a High-Tech-Philosophy up to this very day.
